Healing Together
Our groups are free, open to all survivors of sexual harm, and meet every week. We’ve got a seat ready for you.
What Happens When Survivors Heal Together
You don’t have to find the words for how it felt. They already know. That’s what makes group therapy different.
01
Connection
When everyone in the room has lived something similar, connection happens naturally. You're not performing strength or explaining your history. You're just there, with people who get it, building something real.
02
Safety
Our groups are built on trust, consistency, and care. What's shared in the room stays in the room. You set the pace. You decide how much you share and when. There's no pressure, just space.
03
Being Heard
One of the things members come back to again and again is how it feels to finally be where nobody needs you to explain yourself. They lived it too. That kind of understanding is rare. We've built a space where you can find it every week.
About Our Groups
Our groups are open, conversational, and built around the belief that healing happens best when people feel genuinely welcome. There’s always a therapist in the room, always a warm introduction, and too much pizza. We’ve looked far and wide and never found another group that works quite the way ours do.
An Open Conversation
There's no agenda and no script. Our groups follow the conversation where it naturally goes, guided by a trained therapist who's there to support the process without controlling it.
Safety From the Start
Every session begins with introductions and a clear reminder of confidentiality. Your story is yours. What you share, how much you share, and when you share it is always your choice.
A Real Community Gathering
Somewhere along the way we figured out that sharing a meal changes things. So every week we do exactly that. Pizza, sometimes dessert, eaten throughout the whole session while the conversation flows.
Who Our Groups Are For
Our groups are currently open to survivors of sexual harm across all ages. Teens ages 13 to 18 meet Thursdays from 6 to 8pm. Adults 18 and older meet Mondays from 6 to 8pm. Groups for younger children open based on community need.
How to Join
No referral, no waitlist, no appointment needed. Just show up. Most of our members find us through a friend who's already in the group or a therapist who recommends it. Either way the door is open.
Cost and Flexibility
Group is completely free. Always has been. You can attend group alongside individual therapy or on its own. Whatever works best for you is what works best for us.
Yes, completely. Our groups have always been free and that’s not changing. There’s no cost to attend, ever.
Right now our groups are specifically for survivors of sexual harm. We have a teen group for ages 13 to 18 and an adult group for 18 and older. We also open groups for younger children ages 4 to 12 when there’s enough need in the community.
Adults meet every Monday from 6 to 8pm. Teens meet every Thursday from 6 to 8pm. All groups are in person in our Adrian location.
Absolutely. Some people do both, some do just one or the other. Whatever combination works best for you is completely fine with us.
